After merging with Firestone in 1988, Bridgestone Americas (BSAM), became the world’s largest tire and rubber company. BSAM has more than 50,000 employees throughout the Americas. The company and its subsidiaries develop, manufacture and market a wide range of Bridgestone and Firestone brand tires. Before Commercial Tire was founded in 1968 by current CEO, Bob Schwenkfelder, he worked for Firestone. Our company continues to proudly offer Bridgestone / Firestone tires today.
