Snow Tires

Snow Tires

Snow tires are built to perform when conditions include low temperatures, ice, slush, or snow. These tires use special rubber compounds that stay pliable in the cold for better grip and improved braking, even in extreme conditions. They often include substantial siping, which gives your tire extra biting edges in the harshest of conditions. A good rule of thumb: If your winter temperatures are regularly below 45 degrees Fahrenheit, you should invest in a set of four snow tires. In places where it rarely snows and the winter temperatures are relatively mild, like the Southern United States, your all-season tires are probably fine.
